New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers took the field at training camp Thursday, sparking optimism despite still recovering from an ACL tear. He remains on a path to return but has not been given a target date.
Nabers is 10 months removed from tearing the ACL in his right knee and is not yet participating fully in practice. After the second practice of camp at the team’s West Virginia location, Nabers spoke about his progress. “It felt good,” he said.
Notably, Nabers stated that he does not know what the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list is – a designation for players unable to perform physically at the start of training camp. This suggests he is progressing toward full participation but isn’t there yet. The reason for his limited practice participation remains focused on continued recovery from the knee injury sustained ten months prior.
