The Athletic first reported on Monday that Marc Skinner had departed his position as head coach after a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. Skinner previously managed Birmingham City and Orlando Pride. Manchester United officially confirmed Olid as his successor on Tuesday.
The player leadership group was informed of Olid’s appointment on Tuesday afternoon.
