Actress Sharon Stone recently discontinued both cannabis use and a stroke medication against medical advice. She described the experience of quitting weed as comparable to withdrawing from heroin.
Stone suffered a near-fatal stroke in 2001 and was subsequently prescribed medications. In September, she made the decision to stop taking one of those medications, despite being advised against it by her doctors. “I got off one of my medications that I was on for my stroke last September, and they said I couldn’t go off of it,” Stone stated.
The actress also revealed she has stopped smoking weed.
