Meanwhile, Brandon Nakashima overcame a challenging match against Arthur Rinderknech, winning 7-6 (7/4), 5-7, 7-5. Despite facing a love game from his French opponent, Nakashima managed to break serve and ultimately secure victory on his first match point.
